Welcome Back to School!

Its' that time of the year again! Man the summer has flown by! This is my first year at a new school. I recently moved to the Spartanburg /Greenville area of South Carolina and am doing my CF at a local Preschool and I am thrilled. I am used to having many students with language delays so I created several language activities this summer. Come to find out, the majority of my students are articulation. So I may be creating more articulation centered activities. This year at my school we have a circus theme, so in honor of that I created a circus themed grammar, syntax, and vocabulary activity.

There are a total of 30 slides full of Vocabulary words, and little activities such as:

Vocabulary:
Use the Circus related words as flash cards for your students. Print two copies and play memory. (18 cards)

Present, Past, Future:
Have the students write down the past present and future tense of each word listed. (36 Cards, and 6 blank)

Comparatives:
Have the Students choose the correct form of the word for each sentence. Once laminated, students can use dry erase markers. (18 cards)

Plurals:
This activity uses several different nouns and the plural form of that noun.
Type of noun:
Words that end in s, x, ch, or sh, you add the ‘es’ to the end
Words ending in ‘y’ are preceded by a vowel you add an ‘s’
Words ending in ‘y’ and are preceded by a consonant you change the final ‘y’ to ‘ies’
Words that end with ‘f’ or ‘fe’ you change the ‘f’ or ‘fe’ to ‘ves’
Also included are irregular nouns. (30 cards)

Pronouns Him and Her, He and She:
Fill in the blank with the appropriate use of the pronoun.
Circle the appropriate pronoun.  (24 cards)

You can find all that here at my TPT store
